City Beach Netball Club began in 1959, formed from the Year 6 and 7 City Beach Primary School teams. The girls wanted to continue as a Junior team playing at the Mathews Netball Centre. Mrs Marjorie Williams the coach at the time, decided to form the first City Beach Surfers teams (the original name of the Club).

Sadly Mrs Williams (affectionately known as Mrs Willy) is no longer with us however the club she started is now one of the largest and most successful clubs in the Perth Netball Association.

Today City Beach has over 30 teams competing in Sub Juniors, Juniors and Open competitions each year.  We are very proud of our culture of playing hard but fair and developing young netballers.
